You get the license once both parties complete the application and take the oath. There is also a video application option, Monday to Thursday 9:00 am to 12 pm, with the completed application uploaded at least 48 hours ahead; a license from a video appointment is mailed to you. If you need the license on the same day as your courthouse ceremony, arrive at least 30 minutes early. Certified copies are $2.50 each.
