The reservation covers the full day and includes use of all picnic tables inside the shelter plus electricity. Restrooms and playground amenities are shared with the public. Reservations and permits are only issued for events taking place May 1 - Sept. 30; Park Use Permits will not be issued Oct. 1 - April 30. Permit applications must be submitted at least 30 days before the event or they may be denied or charged a $100 late fee. If the event draws 100 or more people and/or requires City services, a separate Special Event Permit is required at an additional rate. Both applicants are part of the application, but one party who cannot appear may sign a notarized application by mail rather than appearing in person. In person service is Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 'Applicants do not have to be residents of the state of Washington to obtain a marriage license.'
