Office hours Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with the Alexandria office open until 6:00 p.m. on the first and last Thursday of each month and the Newport office until 6:00 p.m. on the first and last Monday. The Clerk publishes the KRS 402.210 issuance requirements verbatim: both parties present, documentary proof of age, no license at all under 17, and for a 17 year old a certified court order plus 15 days elapsed. The Clerk page itself does not publish the license fee; the $50.00 figure and the card surcharge come from the Clerk's own downloadable marriage license application form. Certified copies are $7.00 by mail or email request and $5.00 in person.
